Pop star Ariana Grande is placing her health first.
On Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, the “Thank U, Next” singer took to her Instagram Stories to announce that her Saturday, Dec. 29 concert on the Cosmopolitan resort in Las Vegas has been canceled due to an undisclosed sickness.
“Vegas, I’m at present working via some health issues and am past sorry I will not have the ability to see you this weekend,” Grande wrote in a text-post to her 140 million followers, including, “I really like you and so look ahead to seeing u and making it up to u subsequent 12 months.”
According to sources cited by TMZ, the “Imagine” hitmaker has reportedly been battling bronchitis forward of the headlining New Year’s Eve weekend gig.
For its half, the Sin City venue has since launched an announcement to Entertainment Tonight, noting, “Due to unforeseeable health causes, Ariana Grande has cancelled her present at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday, Dec. 29. Guests are in a position to obtain a full refund on tickets via their specified level of buy. A rescheduled date has not but been decided right now.”
As Us Weekly reported, this concert would have been Grande’s first following her headline-making breakup with comic Pete Davidson. As Nicki Swift beforehand reported, Grande and Davidson, each 25, known as off their engagement in mid-October 2018 after five-months of relationship.
While Grande is supposed to hit the highway once more along with her Sweetener World Tour in March 2019, the excursions of numerous different singers have sadly been affected by sicknesses in current months — together with fellow pop star Justin Timberlake.
