Life actually is a thriller. In April 2011, a Time headline requested its readership a seemingly easy query: “A Preschooler in a Madonna Cone Bra?” On any given day, the reply must be an emphatic “No,” ideally punctuated with a number of fats exclamation factors and underlined in three blood-red sharpie slashes. But on one notably controversial episode of Toddlers & Tiaras, the reply was a powerful, “Yes, certainly.”
Here’s the way it all went down: As Jezebel reported, a 2-year outdated woman named Mia took the stage to the dulcet tones of Madonna’s “Like A Prayer,” dancing for glory in a “white gown with angel wings.” So far, so bizarre — and it will get even grittier from right here. Mia ultimately eliminated the gown to reveal a decent gold-hued bustier, absolutely adorned with a conical bra. As Time reported, Mia misplaced focus at one level — probably as a result of she was two years outdated on the time — and her mother bounded onstage to reveal find out how to shake one’s hips like a professional.
In the tip, Mia’s mother was delighted by the efficiency, boasting that “we love to do issues which can be totally different.” She felt Mia’s flip was suitably “excessive. It was a crowd-pleaser.” Jezebel did not sound notably happy: “There is totally nothing cute, charming, humorous, or treasured about this idea,” the publication stated.
